Our Programs
Global Literacy Outreach was established in 2009 to provide educational assistance to rural communities through mobile outreach events across California. These initiatives focus on delivering essential school supplies to students. What commenced as an effort to distribute backpacks and school supplies rapidly transitioned into a comprehensive strategy to empower local communities.
Community Outreaches
Our community outreaches encourage educational engagement by providing students with a new backpack filled with school supplies. Teachers report that these supplies help improve student preparedness, confidence, and participation. Individual donors and financial partners can choose to provide backpacks to students at all levels, including a single class or the entire school. It's more than just a backpack.
